  (3) Human Resources Development

Under “Support Program of Capacity Building Training” originally made by JOPCA, we provided financial support with JOPCA members when conducting technical training activities for participants from overseas.

(4)International Assistance for Developing Countries:

Upon careful consideration of challenges and requirements on port&harbor development,

maintenance&renovation works and environmental improvement in developing

countries, following our studies regarding what documentary materials, simple equipments

and commodities possibly be provided from Japan to those countries, JOPCA donated them or

used our good offices in giving those items in accordance with requests.

Name of the book donated:  Standard Specifications for Port & Harbor Works 2013

(5)Groundwork Consolidation  (Consolidation Work for Activity Ground)

Exchange Program prepared for developing country separately by JOPCA for the people closely related to port activities.

JOPCA members that have deeply been involved in technical cooperation in the field of port&harbor in Cambodia made site visits to Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville for further exchanges with their counterparts and JICA participants, besides for establishment of an alumni association among participants having completed JICA training courses as well as  holding a seminar.  Through these opportunities of exchange, not only transmission of the latest information of technologies but deepening friendship among those present has been realized.
