June 19, 2019 (Wednesday), welcome party was held for participants to the JICA Sustainable Port Development and Planning (for port Engineers) course.

The number of participants counts 15, of which 5 are female; Morocco, Panama, Myanmar, Philippines and Tunisia.

Other than the above five countries, 8 countries of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mozambique, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Senegal and Sri Lanka sent engineers. The total number of participating countries counts 13. They will stay in Japan from 12th of June to 9th of August.

The ceremony started from 18:00, followed by the welcome party. Guests included diplomats from Embassies at Tokyo, had a good time to chat with JICA trainees.
