Welcome Party for the Participants to the JICA Program on Port Development and Planning (for port engineers)

On June 15th, 2018, the reception was held at the Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon.
The number of participants counted 14, among which 2 were female; from Myanmar and Morocco. The program started from 13th of June and ended 10th of August.
13 countries participated in; Cambodia, Ghana, Iran, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Solomon, Togo, Viet Nam and Yemen.
The ceremony started at 18:30, thereafter followed welcome reception from 19:00. Diplomats were invited from Embassies at Tokyo and had chats with the program participants.

Mr. Sarfo Daniel Yaw, Ghana made a thank-you speech on behalf of the Participants
Mr. Hideo Kato, Senior Executive Director of JWA (the Japan Workvessel Association) welcomed the Participants and proposed a toast on behalf of nine (9) port-related organizations which co-hosted the party
